Yan Pei-Ming  严培明was born in Shanghai, China.

  

1976

He worked as a propaganda painter.

  

1980

He arrived in France on August 26th.

  

1981

He entered the ENSA, in Dijon.

After graduating he began his first series of portraits : Heads of Mao.

He joined the Institute for Advanced Studies in Fine Arts in Paris.
