Chico A. Lanete (born on August 1st 1979) is a Filipino professional basketball player with the Sarangani Marlins of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). He was born at Isabela, Basilan and then played for Southern City Colleges in Zamboanga City in college, before moving into the Lyceum of the Philippines University.

In the last quarter of 2011 Lanete got signed on by Meralco Bolts.

On January 25, 2012, Lanete was traded by Meralco to the Barako Bull Energy in exchange for Paul Artadi.
