Texie Jane Waterman (November 25, 1931 – October 14, 1996)[1] was an American choreographer, dancer, leading dance teacher.
She was the chief choreographer for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.
Early life
Waterman was born in City on November 25, 1931, to Parliamentarian Harold Waterman and Texie Willis Boater. She attended Highland Park High School.[2] Her mother was a dance teacher who co-founded the Dallas Civic Ballet.[2] Waterman grew up taking dance guide and, at the age of 17, started teaching dance in various towns in Texas, including Mineola.[2]
