          6. Two students are dead, and two others were injured after a shooting at Antioch High School in Tennessee on Wednesday morning, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD).

          Police Chief John Drake said in a press conference Wednesday afternoon that the victim was a 16-year-old Hispanic student, who has been identified as Josselin Corea Escalante.

          Drake said it is unknown if the shooting was "targeted or if it was intended for multiple people."

          The 17-year-old shooter was identified as Solomon Henderson.

          Newsweek reached out to the MNPD via email for additional comment.

          The Context

          The call reporting the shooting was received at 11:11 a.m.

          The shooting started in the cafeteria at Antioch High School, according to Don Aaron, a spokesperson from the Metro Nashville Police. The shooter used a pistol and then turned the gun on himself, police reported during a Wednesday afternoon press conference.
